A View on the Challenges of Prayer

Arnold M. Eisen, Chancellor of The Jewish Theological Seminary, tackles a thorny issue in this article entitled, "Meaningful Tefillah (Prayer) in the Synagogue" published on July 26, 2011 / 24 Tammuz 5771. While his focus is on prayer in Conservative synagogues, people from every background will resonate with some of what he says, I think.
