In June, we’re re-running some of our favorite summertime posts. Enjoy!
As I flipped through our family’s photo albums recently, it hit me like a flash – we took time from everyday activities to record what we considered to be special. Holiday celebrations. Birthday parties. Family gatherings. Vacations. Weddings. Award ceremonies.
Seeing this reminded me, again, how important it is not to let these occasions slip away.
As a novice photographer, I am learning that each image captures a precise moment in time, one that will never recur in precisely that way.
That is, perhaps, the sub-text behind Jewish Holidays in a Box. Our goal is to create the right mix of holiday materials to help you grab those moments and find ways to make connections that work for your family – right now.
Regardless of your path of entry to Judaism – birth, conversion, marriage – we want to offer ideas, provide encouragement and demystify the traditions.
With all the demands on your time, if we can provide you with family activities and easy-to-use educational materials that help you feel more comfortable participating in – and even leading – Jewish holiday celebrations that work with your life, we’ll call it a great day!
